1. New Dev Blog: Price Indices - June 2011 - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
I'm sure CCP is starting to feel like anything they say results in a threadnaught, but I hope they are listening. When I heard CCP had their own economist, I decided to see what this Eve thing was all about. I had never played in MMO before. It wa...

2. New Dev Blog: Accord reached at CCP's special summit - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
I am satisfied. I hope the lesson CCP took from this is that more tranperency and debate (including players, not just CSM) is good, rather than deciding that all communication now must be tightly controlled.

3. An overdue apology and request for parley - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Doesn't CCP realize that real life analogies aren't helpful here? Yes, we know that guys in Armani suits get better jobs and attract women, people in expensive sports cars go faster, and people with expensive golf clubs hit the ball farther. But t...

4. CCP - Read This! Extremely Important! Needs CCP BlueBar! - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
I am also having serious problems. I can play Fallout 3 with high graphic settings and my computer gets hot, but keeps going for hours. 30 minutes in station, not even walkng a around, just reading emails, and my laptop shuts down from heat.

5. New Dev Blog: 0.0 Tweaks - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Edited by: Ella Scorpio on 11/05/2011 01:39:43 Yes, another nerf which will have the opposite of the effect intended. You want more player interaction, but do something that will make nullsec less populated? Last Friday night--yes, Friday duri...

6. New Dev Blog: Those anomaly changes in full - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
So Greyscale said they would implement the change and then evaluate it. So I think it is worth having a discussion about how to evaluate the change. I don't think watching how quickly people drop sov or move to get better space are good short ter...

7. New Dev Blog: Those anomaly changes in full - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Originally by: Skaarl actually that is an incorrect statement. "most" players do not in fact agree with the fundamentals of this change. CCP believes (and i have this as a petition response" that the suppport/disapporve ratio is about 50/5...

8. New Dev Blog: Those anomaly changes in full - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
It's sad the CCP isn't willing to engage, either in this thread or with the CSM, to determine if the assumptions in their model are correct. I'm guessing they are just chocking this thread up to complaints from player effected, and aren't noticing...

9. New Dev Blog: Those anomaly changes in full - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Originally by: Liang Nuren L4s, when run in such a manner as to compete with running Sanctums, are very nearly an ISK sink to the game. Most of your ISK comes from LP, and LP requires raw ISK inputs on top of contract/market costs. Furt...

10. New Dev Blog: Those anomaly changes in full - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Edited by: Ella Scorpio on 30/03/2011 03:52:21 I really hope CCP is still reading this. They better be--I still am, and I'm not even being paid to read it. I suspect that CCP's models are all about isk faucets and isk drains, and they believe...

11. New Dev Blog: Those anomaly changes in full - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Look, if CCP nerfs your favorite ship that makes you sad. If CCP makes the space you live in more valuable and so other players come in and steal it from you, that makes you sad but it's part of the brutal Eve life. If CCP took space you were livi...

12. New Dev Blog: Those anomaly changes in full - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Yeah, I really hope this is an April Fool's joke. The problem is that I agree with the basic concept of making some space better than other space. The problem is the belief that alliances will start looking for better space. You have to think of ...

13. New Dev Blog: Those anomaly changes in full - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
As others have pointed out, the problem isn't the central idea (truesec status should make a difference) but the way the banding works. The worst nullsec system when upgraded should still be better than sitting in Dodixie running level 4 missions....

14. New Dev Blog: Those anomaly changes in full - in EVE Information Portal [original thread]
Please, CCP, stop and think of the children. Won't anyone think of the children? Seriously, I'm glad Greyscale and CCP are listening. I understand the attraction of the elegance of this solution. As I'm devs often think "oh, we should have design...
